Why are so many information products so poorly written?

Internet Marketers should not have to be professional writers - that’s what English majors are for! And that’s where I come in. I am the internet marketers’ proofreader. As an internet marketer myself, I know your business and won’t waste your time with simple industry-related questions.

This site will soon be the home of proofreading, editing, transcription and copywriting services provided exclusively to internet marketers. If you are an internet marketer in need of affordable professional information services, you have come to the right place.

This is my pre-launch call for clients. If you get on board now you will receive special rates that will apply throughout the lifetime of our relationship. These rates are about 50% of what I will be charging per hour during the official launch. Services offered will include:

  • Transcription - Any audio or video format can be submitted to me for quick verbatim transcription. My customers often pair this with the proofreading service in order to have a manuscript that reads like a book or report. I call this the “um, like, you know” removal service.
  • Proofreading - I can take your transcript, e-book, report or information product to the next level of professionalism. Forget about typos and awkward sentences, your product will read like it just came off the shelf at Barnes and Noble.
  • Writing from an Outline - If you have all the ideas on paper, but you just can’t get them organized, I can help. A simple outline and notes can be transformed into a manuscript in very little time. You will be charged only for my time spent writing and proofreading, never for any consultation or discussions that may be necessary.
  • Writing from an Audio - Perhaps you’re not the world’s fastest typist and you’d rather just brain-dump your ideas. You can record that brain-dump, send the audio file to me and I’ll bring it all together for you. As with writing from an outline, consultation or discussion time is not billed.
  • Writing via Interview - This is just like brain-dumping to an audio, but we’ll just get on the phone and talk. You can talk freely or allow me to ask leading questions so you are sure not to miss any important information. This allows you to just focus on getting ideas out of your head and let me worry about the structure and phrasing. The finished product will be all yours, but with the polish of a professional manuscript.

When you request an estimate, I will contact you to discuss your project in more depth. Together we can decide the best service - or combination of services - for your product or service. I pride myself on my honesty with customers so I won’t suggest anything I don’t think you need. If you just need an oil change, I won’t try to replace the carburetor.
